Nearest-era rulings (Tengu, Sept 2011) — no REDU-specific archive exists.
Card effect (current official text)FLIP: Shuffle all monsters on the field into the Deck. Then, each player excavates cards from the top of their Deck, until they excavate the same number of monsters they shuffled into their Main Deck. Special Summon all excavated Level 4 or lower monsters in face-down Defense Position, also send the remaining cards to the Graveyard.
Rulings
- Level 5+ monsters, and monsters that can't be summoned this way, are sent to the GY.
- Extra Deck monsters and Tokens are not counted towards "cards shuffled into the Main Deck".
- If this Set card is attacked and destroyed by battle, it doesn't shuffle itself.
- If "Vanity's Fiend" or "Dark Simorgh" are applying, this effect still activates, as it is mandatory. Those cards will be shuffled into the Deck, and each player can still Special Summon face-down this way.
