Evil HERO Inferno Wing
Card effect (current official text)"Elemental HERO Avian" + "Elemental HERO Burstinatrix"
Must be Special Summoned with "Dark Fusion" and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing Battle Damage to your opponent. When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to either the ATK or DEF (whichever is higher) of the destroyed monster in the Graveyard.
Rulings
- The damage inflicted by "Evil Hero Inferno Wing" is determined when the destroyed monster is sent to the GY, and due to this the damage inflicted will be based on the destroyed monsters original ATK or DEF.
- If the destroyed monster’s ATK and DEF are equal, the effect of "Evil Hero Inferno Wing" will still activate and it will inflict damage equal to either the ATK or DEF. (since both are equal, it does not matter which is selected)
