Descending Lost Star
Card effect (current official text)Target 1 Synchro Monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in Defense Position, but its effects are negated, its Level is reduced by 1, its DEF becomes 0, also its battle position cannot be changed.
Rulings
- This card targets 1 Synchro Monster in your GY. If the Synchro Monster is flipped face-down while on the field, all effects of "Descending Lost Star" are wiped. The monster’s effects are re-applied, its Level and DEF are restored, and its battle position can be changed.
- Effects like "Chorus of Sanctuary" can increase the DEF of the monster above 0.
- Descending Lost Star" only negates effects that apply or activate on the field.
- If the Synchro Monster has an effect that activates off the field, that effect is still applied.
