Card effect (current official text)If you control a face-up Tuner monster, this card cannot be destroyed by battle. When a face-up Tuner monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

Rulings

  • If "White Potan" becomes a Tuner, it cannot be destroyed by battle.
  • If a monster being treated as a Tuner is destroyed by battle and sent to the GY, it is not considered a Tuner in the GY, and the effect of "White Potan" to inflict damage will not activate.
