Card effect (current official text)If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Activate 1 of these effects.
● This card gains 400 ATK.
● Target 1 face-up Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target.
● Special Summon 1 "Option Token". Its Type, Attribute, Level, ATK and DEF are always the same as this card, but it leaves the field if this card is no longer face-up on the field.
Rulings
- This effect does not specify "and sends it to the GY". It triggers at the end of the Damage Step, even if destroyed after Damage Calculation (either by battle or by effect), as long as it destroyed a monster by battle.
- If this card's ATK/DEF/etc change, the token's also change. If this card leaves the field or is flipped face-down, the token is removed from the field (but not "destroyed").
