Card effect (current official text)Activate only when a monster you control is targeted by a Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster's effect that destroys 1 monster on the field. Switch the target to an appropriate monster your opponent controls.

Rulings

  • Remote Revenge cannot be chained to an effect that targets 2 or more monsters.
  • If the effect targets only 1 monster while also targeting 1 or more Non-Monster Cards, like Icarus Attack, Remote Revenge can be chained.
