Card effect (current official text)You can Ritual Summon this card with "Black Illusion Ritual". Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; equip that target to this card (max. 1). This card's ATK/DEF become equal to that equipped monster's. If this card would be destroyed by battle, destroy that equipped monster instead. While equipped with that monster, any battle damage you take from battles involving this card inflicts equal effect damage to your opponent.
Rulings
- If this card is flipped face-down/leaves the field before its effect to equip resolves, the target is sent to the GY.
- If you already have 5 cards in your S/T zone, you cannot activate the effect to equip.
- If "Sangan" is sent to the GY while equipped to this card, its effect will activate.
- You cannot target "Blindly Loyal Goblin" with this effect.
- If Relinquihsed's effects become negated, the equipped monster is sent to the GY, and its ATK becomes 0.
- While the effect of "Timidity" is active, you cannot destroy a Set Monster Card equipped to this.
- Equipped Token monsters have 0 ATK/DEF, and are destroyed by Token Thanksgiving.
- Damage is only inflicted if the the destruction is prevented.
