Card effect (current official text)When a face-up monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can change the target to this card. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, 1 face-up monster your opponent controls loses 1000 ATK, until the End Phase.

Rulings

  • Ghost Gardna's second effect targets 1 of your opponent's monsters.
  • If a Ghost Gardna in your hand or Deck is destroyed and sent to your GY, its effect activates.
  • If you control a face-up Marauding Captain and Ghost Gardna, when your opponent attacks Marauding Captain you can activate Ghost Gardna's effect, and the opponent's monster will attack Ghost Gardna instead.
