Card effect (current official text)Both players can Normal Summon "Ancient Gear" monsters for 1 less Tribute. When this card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Ancient Gear" monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

Rulings

  • You can't Tribute Set using the ① effect.
  • In Edison, there can only ever be 1 face-up Field Spell on the field.
  • If you control this, and you activate another Field Spell: This card is destroyed, and its ② misses its timing.
  • If you control this, and your opponent activates another Field Spell: This card is destroyed, and its ② activates (it does not miss its timing).
  • If you Set another Field Spell while this card is in the Field Spell Zone (face-up or face-down), this card is destroyed, and its ② effect can be activated. You can read more about Timing here: https://www.mikamika.de/edison-rules
