Card effect (current official text)If this card is Normal Summoned: Target 1 Level 3 or lower Dragon monster in your GY; equip that Dragon monster to this card. Gains ATK equal to the original ATK of the monster equipped to it by this effect. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Inflict 300 damage to your opponent. If this card would be destroyed by battle, destroy the monster equipped to it by its effect, instead.

Rulings

  • This effect does not specify "and sends it to the GY". It triggers at the end of the Damage Step, even if destroyed after Damage Calculation (either by battle or by effect), as long as it destroyed a monster by battle.
