Spell Vanishing
Card effect (current official text)Discard 2 cards from your hand. Negate the activation of a Spell Card and destroy it. Also, look at your opponent's hand and Deck and if you find any Spell Cards of the same name as the destroyed Spell Card, send all of them to the Graveyard.
Rulings
- When you activate Spell Vanishing, you get to search your opponent's Deck to look for any Spell Cards of the same name as the destroyed Spell Card. 1/05/2004
- Q: "Spell Vanishing" doesn't state to shuffle the decks after played. Do I shuffle anyways? A: Anytime you search your deck for a card or place a card into your deck you MUST shuffle your deck when finished, even if the effect did not tell you to.
