Burning Beast
Card effect (current official text)Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this monster on the field, you can equip it to your "Freezing Beast" as an Equip Spell Card, OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this card's effect, each time the equipped monster inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, destroy 1 face-up Spell or Trap Card on the field. (1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead.)

Rulings

  • You may use the effect of Burning Beast to destroy a Spell/Trap Card on your side of the field.
  • If a monster equipped with Burning Beast attacks your opponent's LP directly, and Robbin' Goblin is the only face-up Spell/Trap Card on the field, the turn player chooses whether to resolve Robbin' Goblin's effect first or resolve Burning Beast's effect first. If the effect of Burning Beast is resolved first and destroys Robbin' Goblin, then Robbin' Goblin's effect is not applied because it is a Continuous Trap Card that is no longer in play.
  • The controller of "Burning Beast" while "Burning Beast" is an Equip Spell Card may choose one of their own Spell/Trap Cards.
  • If "Burning Beast" is the only Spell/Trap Card on the field when the equipped monster inflicts Battle Damage, "Burning Beast" must destroy itself.
