A Feint Plan
Card effect (current official text)A player cannot attack face-down monsters during this turn.
Rulings
- If A Feint Plan is activated and you control only face-down monsters, your opponent cannot attack any of your monsters and they cannot attack your LP directly either.
- If you activate A Feint Plan after your opponent declares an attack against one of your face-down monsters, that attack resolves as normal, but they cannot attack other face-down monsters for the remainder of the turn. (This is because A Feint Plan prevents declaring an attack against a face-down monster, and the attack has already been declared by the time A Feint Plan resolves during the Battle Step.)
- If "A Feint Plan" is activated in response to an opponent’s declaration of an Attack on a face-down monster, that attack will resolve normally.
- Q: If you have only face-down monsters does "A Feint Plan" stop your opponent from attacking during the turn or would an attack go through directly to your LP? A: Your opponent may not attack your LP directly if all you have is face-down monsters on your side of the field and "A Feint Plan" has been activated. 02/03/04
- Q: If "A Feint Plan" has been activated, will the opponent still take damage if the attacking monster has the effect of attacking the opponent directly? A: A monster with the ability to attack directly, like Toon monsters, would still be able to attack directly. Any battle damage resulting from the attack will be calculated normally.
