Card effect (current official text)When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can pay 500 Life Points; Special Summon it during the Standby Phase of the next turn. When you do: It gains 500 ATK.

Rulings

  • You pay 500 Life Points when Vampire's Curse is sent to the GY. Paying 500 Life Points is a cost.
  • The effect that increases Vampire's Curse's ATK starts a Chain when it is Special Summoned by its effect.
  • Vampire's Curse is not Special Summoned with its effect if it is removed from play.
