Card effect (current official text)Monster Cards Tributed for a Ritual Summon are returned to the owner's Deck instead of being sent to the Graveyard.
Rulings
- The effect of "Samsara" does not start a chain. The Tributed monsters will be shuffled into the Deck immediately, instead of being sent to the GY. Then the Ritual Monster is Special Summoned.
- If "Samsara" and "Banisher of the Light" are both on the field the monsters Tributed for a Ritual Summon will be shuffled back into the Deck.
