Rulings
(1) Put 1 counter on this card during each of your Standby Phases. (2) When this card is destroyed, inflict damage to the controller of the card that destroyed it equal to the number of counters x 400 points.
- The (1) Trigger Effect is mandatory, it activates & resolves on the field.
- While Skill Drain is active, you can't put new counters on Balloon Lizard.
- The counters on Balloon Lizard are NOT Spell Counters.
- Remove all counters on Balloon Lizard if it is flipped face-down or removed from the field.
- The (2) Trigger Effect is mandatory, it activates & resolves in the GY (or banished).
- If this card is destroyed by battle, this effect activates in Substep 7 - End of the Damage Step.
- You can use Barrel Behind the Door against Balloon Lizard's effect.
