(U) If you control a face-up Psychic-Type monster, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. (1) If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, you take damage equal to half the destroyed monster's ATK. Then, you can Special Summon 1 monster from your GY with ATK less than or equal to the damage you took.

• The (U) Unclassified Effect applies in the hand, it  doesn't start a Chain.
• You can still Tribute Summon this card while you control a face-up Psychic-Type monster.
• The (1) Trigger Effect is mandatory, it activates & resolves on the field.
• This effect activates in Substep 7 - End of the Damage Step.
• Taking effect damage is mandatory, Special Summoning 1 Monster from your GY is optional.
• This effect does not target a monster in your GY, it is not negated by Necrovalley.
• If you destroy a monster with 0 ATK, you take no damage and can't Special Summon a monster.
• This effect resolves sequentially: first you take damage, then you Special Summon 1 monster.
• The damage taken is half of the monster’s original (printed) ATK while in the GY.
