Posted by @axel-geargrave · 2026-08-04 04:59What is a dueltainer? A dueltainer is a dueling entertainer! We get in character, grab a duel disk, and put on a show for the audience! You may have seen players with duel disks on TikTok, twitch or YouTube and maybe you wanted to know how you too could join in on the fun! There are a few ways to get involved! First I want to tell you about the formats: DTN format (belonging to dueltainer network) is a custom built singleton format that you can find out about in DTNs official website! It has a built in deck builder and the ban lists are regularly updated! The only special summoning mechanics allowed are fusion, ritual, and synchro. It is intended to be restrictive to remove tcg meta and slow down to a more entertaining back and forth game play. WDF, the world dueling federation, is a custom format that uses a “2 of” for archetype, and “1 of” non archetype system with much less restrictions. All summoning mechanics are allowed. There is a list of archetypes that are not allowed, mostly consistent of tcg meta decks. If you are familiar with ARC V, WDF uses the same action card mechanics that act as uninterruptible spell cards that play “outside” of the game. Meaning they have ultimate authority to benefit the player using it. You are allowed 4 action cards during your duels. If you decide that you want to take your dueltainer career more seriously, DTN network has auditions in place to become an official DTN network dueltainer!
