The Pokémon TCG's main constructed format and the one Regionals and Worlds are played in. Legality is set by REGULATION MARK, the small letter printed on each card: only the current marks are legal, and the oldest drops out each year at rotation. Deck size is exactly 60 cards.

Standard has no banned list. It controls its card pool by rotation instead, retiring older regulation marks each year rather than banning individual cards.
