Genesys

Konami's points format, launched in the TCG on 22 September 2025. There is no Forbidden & Limited List: instead every card carries a cost from 0 to 100, and the Main, Extra and Side Decks together may not exceed the tournament's point cap, 100 as standard. About 95% of the pool costs nothing, so the whole format is the ~700 cards that do. Genesys also uses the original field layout, with no Extra Monster Zones or Pendulum Zones, and Link and Pendulum Monsters are not legal.
